Alcatel-Lucent needed to launch the FlexPath 3, the world’s first 400GB network processor. Our task was to design a short video to communicate that the company’s commitment to producing their own custom silicon chip resulted in a device that was faster, smarter, and greener than the competition.

Applied Ventures, LLC is the Silicon Valley based venture capital arm of Applied Materials, Inc., the global leader in nanomanufacturing technology solutions for the electronics industry with a broad portfolio of innovative equipment, service, and software products.
Applied Ventures needed an engaging, humorous marketing video to the visualize lifestyle-changing applications that would be possible in a world of truly high-speed Internet. We collaborated extensively with the company to design a corporate video, using storyboards and a temporary soundtrack to create an animatic (a rough video, made from the storyboard still images, set to a temporary dialogue and music track).

The non-profit Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) is one of the nation’s leading astronomy and space science education organizations.
In cooperation with the National Science Foundation, JPL, and NASA, the Society manages the Night Sky Network, an education program teaches the public about astronomy.
Flying Moose first collaborated with the Astronomical Society by assisting them in writing a grant to fund a series of educational videos. The grant was awarded and we have collaborated with ASP for more than a decade, completing more than thirty video projects for their educational programs. Over four-hundred and fifty astronomy clubs have used our instructional videos to stage more than thirty-five thousand events, reaching nearly four million people.
ASP needed a set of training videos to motivate and guide the Night Sky Network presenters who volunteer to educate Americans about astronomy.

With access to more than 200,000 locations across the Cox network and supporting speeds of up to 10 Gbps, Cox is committed to delivering the network of the future.
We worked extensively with Cox and Alcatel-Lucent / Nokia to craft concise, impactful messages for each of the three videos. The project was uniquely challenging because of the need to gain alignment between multiple stakeholders in two large companies. An added challenge was the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent by Nokia during the production, requiring careful attention to the branding graphics and language.
We captured engaging interview clips from vice presidents at both companies and illustrated their talking points with B-roll. The videos are used extensively during live presentations to potential Cox Customers.
Cox Communications is a broadband communications and entertainment company, providing advanced digital video, the Internet, telephone and home security and automation services over its own nationwide IP network. They are close partners with Alcatel-Lucent / Nokia and decided to produce marketing videos to highlight their collaboration in three business service areas: retail, wireline, and wireless infrastructure.
